Horse racing in Japan is called “Keiba”; it has a history of over 200 years. The first official race dates way back to 1860. Its popularity as a form of gambling and art has continued to grow ever since and shows no sign of decline.

• Go to a “Keiba-jo” (horse racetrack) and bet!
Also, at the racetrack, you can enjoy traditional Japanese food at one of the many restaurants while watching a horse race.
