Let's visit Sumo stable and enjoy to watch Sumo wrestler's training very close!! Sumo stable is where Sumo wrestlers reside and devote themselves for hard trainings everyday. Since Sumo is not just a sport but it was originally started as a secret ritual in ancient time, you will find unique and amazing protocols even in their everyday practices. Their morning training is filled with spirits and tense, while they sometime show their natural smiles just as young sweet men! By watching their sincere practice, you will definitely learn Sumo deeply and get its spirit, which is very origin of "Japan"!!
1. Meet host at the satation
2. Go to Sumo stable and take photos
3. Say goodbyes to Sumo wrestlers and leave Sumo stable

- Temporary Out of Services, as of Feb 2012: regular operation --- every day in the morning (start from 8am) EXCEPT during Sumo tournaments, for a whole week (or two weeks) after the tournaments and New Year Holidays.

Sumo stable is NOT a place for sight seeing. It is opened specially for Sumo fans. You have to show your respects as visitors for stable master and wrestlers on hard trainings. Please watch quietly and do not move around inside a stable.
